Description

This painting was accompanied by a realization that the Artist and the Opportunist both see beauty in the world. However, the opportunist uses the world’s beauty as a tool for elevation and self preservation. While, the artist chooses to engage and live amongst the beauty in to one day reflect it. 

This work followed an experience visiting San Antonio. While there I saw a man who I thought would make a great photo. I asked If I could take his picture, he insisted I get into the photo with him. I did, and we began talking. He told me about his life and a far more beautiful picture was created through conversation, than I could’ve ever photographed.
