Belteshazzar
This scene depicts a young Belteshazzar sitting cross legged in meditation prior to going unto king Nebuchadnezzar to share his interpretation. The moment represents a test of faith in the dreams that were shared with him. His Garment features a collage of images and patterns pulled from a tango magazine, set on top of a weave of patterns. Using the imagery of the intimate dancing, a parallel between movement, passion, and purpose is created. This allegorical work urges the viewer to lean into their faith of dreams possibilities and aspiration.
